On October 27, the City of Vero Beach will issue an official proclamation declaring November 13, 2026, as veroBEACHKIND Day, coinciding with the annual celebration of World Kindness Day.
Everyone who believes in the power of kindness is invited to gather outside Vero Beach City Hall on Tuesday, October 27, at 9:20 a.m. to show support for the proclamation. Wear veroBEACHKIND shirts/hats, or receive a complimentary kindness decal at the gathering. Shirts and hats are available at the Vero Beach Chamber of Commerce, 1420 19th Pl.
World Kindness Day Community Activities
Monday, November 9 | 5:30–7 p.m. Potluck Social with a Purpose
355 43rd Avenue, Vero Beach. Share food, friendship, and kindness! Bring a dish (no shellfish or pork products, please) and nonperishable food donations for the Salvation Army.
Friday, November 13 | 7:30 a.m.–Noon. Habitat for Humanity Community Leaders Build — Gifford. Join the VBKind team to help build two homes for local families. To participate, contact info@verobeachkind.org.
Friday, November 13 | 8–9 a.m. Coffee with Laura Moss — Heritage Center. Debbie Padnuk will share the mission of veroBEACHKIND and ways everyone can help create a kinder community.
